Jerry Smith

Founder, Editor, and Head Writer

Jerry grew up in California, served in the U.S. Air Force as an instructor and correctional custody supervisor; currently a bi-vocational, missionary, teaching-pastor residing in the Philippines. 

He exercises his ministry of teaching through writing; has his own website for practical theology, is active on Quora, and has written several books covering practical Christian issues. 

He has graduate degrees in teaching English, theological studies, and business; undergraduate degrees in occupational education and divinity, and doctoral degrees in theology, ministry, and Christian education. 

As the bi-vocational pastor-teacher in Our Lord's Bible Church (a house church), Dasmarinas, Cavite, Jerry supports his family as an online English language (ESL) teacher, a professor of English composition, a writer, and as a TESOL certificate instructor.
